Sweet, fun, and eerie, Crocodiles create some noisy pop tunes that are truly blissful. Kinda reminds me of A Place To Bury Strangers, only less abrasive. I could even make the case that "Girl In Black" is one of the best songs of 2010. Check it out.

Deerhunter once again release another album of alienated atmosphere and nostalgic pop motifs, this time delving more into regression than any other of their previous albums. Halcyon Digest features much classic rock and is their most straightforward record yet and while it doesn't spend too much time drowning itself in atmospherics, Deerhunter's new LP has a fuzzy, timeless sound to it that enhances Bradford Cox's obscured croon. This album will appeal to fans of art rockers No Age and classic dream pop bands in the vein of Stereolab. Nice.

Now happy music just isn't going to cut it, you have work and frankly any kind of cheer is just going to piss you the fuck off. So you get out some Low (an aptly named band) and begin the trek to work feeling hopelessly sorry for yourself.

You work your fucking ass off so that he and his smug little colleagues can do jack shit all day. We'll see about that. Your ears roar as you close your hands around his throat, forcing the air from his lungs and pounding his head over and over again into the desk, taking delight in how he bleeds all over the horrendously expensive upholstery.
